GOP intolerance damages party

In a letter to USA Toady, a man writes that rethugs are hurting themselves by "being intolerant toward differences of opinion" and by "demeaning voters with the suggestion that those who disagree with them have limited intelligence."

And, as is typical, repuke readers reacted with intolerance and hostility, suggesting he is an idiot, that it's the left who are intolerant, and that everybody is doing his mom.
