For some of us older readers who can remember back to the conservatives reaction to the rebellious/revolutionary minded left-wingers back in the 60's-early 70's, it's yet another classic example of right-wing hypocrisy. The conservatives back then couldn't get themselves outraged enough over people rebelling (mostly in peaceful marches/demonstrations, though occasionally violent) against an illegal/immoral war and government repression, including the shooting of demonstrators. Now they're in league with the NRA and thinly veiled, general threats of armed rebellion...
Sometimes when the shoe's on the other foot it's a glove!
