Have you guys noticed when she first started on her own show and she'd show up looking totally bedraggled??? Did anyone notice that besides me? She had brown bottle flu. I've seen it. I thought it was funny. After all, she CAME FROM RADIO..... where you get to talk and not be seen?????!
She's an astounding and likely the most amazing and awesomely fearless and BALLSY journalist we get to have these current times!!! (side note: she's our current day Jack Anderson whom I have missed sorely to point of just ACHING!)
Maddow is amazing, her mind is astounding and she's a way real, experienced and yodatype drinker! I love that about her, as I do her Iran nerdiness and her "IN YOUR FACE" eye wear.

I love her to death, she just seems like such a real and decent person. I would to go fishing with her some time.
I REALLY like Maddow's viewpoint, though I have to admit I don't get my news/commentary from TV or radio (mainly the 'inter-tubes' nowadays), even from people like Maddow. However, as far as her appearance, I did read that she's an early morning riser, getting to the station at something like 5 AM and pouring over different publications to prepare for her program. I seem to recall that she's kind of a spartan personality and I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even drink alcohol.
Do lesbian couples use alcohol on each other to loosen them up?
Oh actually she does drink, on her radio show she has talked about the fact that she is fond of old cocktail recipes.
I think of Rachel as my scary-smart younger sister, although I already have one of those.
