"The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists - the Taliban and Hamas - this morning in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize," DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO. "Republicans cheered when America failed to land the Olympics and now they are criticizing the President of the United States for receiving the Nobel Peace prize - an award he did not seek but that is nonetheless an honor in which every American can take great pride - unless of course you are the Republican Party.
"The 2009 version of the Republican Party has no boundaries, has no shame and has proved that they will put politics above patriotism at every turn. It's no wonder only 20 percent of Americans admit to being Republicans anymore - it's an embarrassing label to claim," Woodhouse said.
Indeed.

What are the Repukes going to come out against tomorrow -- puppies, orphans, mother's love, Christmas presents? At least it's making it REALLY obvious -- even to the 'middle-of-the-road' voter who doesn't pay attention except to political commercials a month before elections -- that the Repubes are simply being crassly negative. If they were as politically savvy as they like to believe themselves to be, they'd know enough to bite their lips and at least pretend to be proud that an American won the Nobel Prize - - try to at least give the illusion of being magnanimous and let the MSM news cycle move back to it's comfort-zone (you know, sex/murders/movie-stars - - the important things). But, stupid hatred is hard to keep to yourself, I guess.
Wrong dispenser, one of those dinner plate sized toilet paper dispensers would fit the facts better. Every time they open their mouths, shit comes out. I heard that a major percentage of greenhouse/global warming gases are created by a reaction between the outer space and republican speechifying. The earth tries to expel their idiocy and space tries to send it back, the result is the rest of the universe being convinced that there is no intelligence on earth.
