Rush, Robertson take heat for remarks being Rush and Robertson

Two of the biggest assholes on the planet are getting righteously blasted for their callous comments regarding the devastation in Haiti.

The insensitivity is stunning,” says former Republican congressman.

Critics from both the left and right are denouncing their remarks as insensitive to the disaster and attempts to score political points off human tragedy.

Speaking on his radio show Wednesday, Limbaugh said the earthquake has played into Obama’s hands, allowing the president to look “compassionate” and “humanitarian” while at the same time bolstering his standing in both the “light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country.”

He added: “We've already donated to Haiti. It’s called the U.S. income tax.”

While Limbaugh received a modicum of support [from Newsbusters], nobody of note has stepped up to defend Robertson.

I'm looking at the fatass limbaugh in the photo here and I am thinking about his remark and I would oh so love to carve his rump in to hocks and feed him to the Haitian people.

He's doing for dough. Robertson is just plain fucking stupid.

The sad truth is that Haiti will always be an accident waiting to happen. Their revolt against France was the beginning of the end end for them. They have been the tools of criminals of their own people ever since and no amount of money will ever make them whole again. Leftist revolutions produce nothing but chaos and poverty (except for their leaders - look at Castro and Che). Revolution is simply an excuse for violence and criminality.

Comments like those make me wonder if Rush is still on Oxycontin.
