Bush "legacy project" lacks candor, reality

Bush and Cheney 'deceiving themselves' on legacy tour, says man who helped Bush, Cheney deceive Americans.

"There's a disconnect there between the public's view of his presidency and his own view -- and the vice president's view -- of this presidency," former White House press secretary Scott] McClellan told MSNBC's Keith Olbermann on Wednesday. "And the only way you can begin to close that disconnect is to openly and candidly acknowledge the substantive mistakes that were made. All we're seeing now is a calculated effort to engage in a political marketing campaign."

"They should be calling it the 'Without a Leg to Stand On' project," McClellan almost added. High-five.
