Makin' prog... uhhhh... Iraq carnage leaves 250 dead
"One of the worst attacks of the war"

As things continue to go remarkably well in Iraq, four suicide bombers struck in a massive coordinated attack late Tuesday, killing at least 250 people and wounding 300 more. The death toll was the highest since Nov. 23, when 215 people were killed. Not surprisingly, the Bush misadministration said al Qaeda was the "prime suspect."

In western Iraq, a U.S. transport helicopter crashed, killing five troopers. The death toll for U.S. military personnel now stands at "at least 3,700," according to the AP.

And in another astonishing sign of normalcy, at least two people were killed and seven others were wounded when a suicide car bomber exploded near a local judge's house on Wednesday.
