How often has John McCain been away from the Senate? Well, let's put it this way: At this point, he has missed more votes than even South Dakota Democrat Tim Johnson, who couldn't work for almost a year after suffering a brain hemorrhage in late 2006.

Good point Maru! Remember how the MSM (and I'm sure Fox Noise was worse) was SO concerned that Tim Johnson wouldn't be able to carry out his Congressional duties (I always perceived an implication that he should step-down, or somehow turn the reins over to a Repuke-lican of more 'sound mind') - - why aren't they going on about these Congressmen/women (and I'm not saying Dems should be immune) who repeatedly miss votes while campaigning?? Assholes.
