US headed for "heightened alert" stage

Misadministration officials, with the election right around the corner, feel the time is right to start capitalizing on moron-America's concern that al Qaeda blah blah blah.

Anti-electionterror officials in the Bush WH cite this fall's lineup of two major political parties' conventions, November's general election and months of transition into a new presidential administration as cause for heightened awareness and action.
The Department of Homeland Security is declaring a Period of Heightened Alert, or BLSHT, when terrorists   desperate conserva   terrorists may have more incentive to attack.

Just like the old children's tale about "The Boy Who Cried Wolf", the Repukes are going to keep playing this card until it no longer works -- until we're living in an eternal state of 'terror alert', but nobody believes it anymore, so it'll THEN be a perfect time for terrorists to actually attack!
