Didn't it seem like Palin's whole 'campaign' was more like one big 'lark'? Like one of those game-show contestants who wins a free trip to Hollywood or some exotic locale? She seemed SO rustic -- the proverbial fish out of water -- and painfully inept that it almost seemed like the RNC was hoping for some sort of sympathy vote for her. Even her Rovian attacks on Obama were (to everyone other than the 5% Repuke lunatic hard-core) amusing in their foolishness. In the almost 50 years that I've been following politics, she has to have been the WORST VP selection in that time - - and that includes the repugnant Spiro Agnew and the empty-suit Dan Quayle.
