Add up the damage

Never forget the true Bush legacy, says a righteously pissed off Bob Herbert in this doozy of a NY Times op-ed:

When Mr. Bush officially takes his leave in three weeks (in reality, he checked out long ago), most Americans will be content to sigh good riddance. I disagree. I don’t think he should be allowed to slip quietly out of town. There should be a great hue and cry — a loud, collective angry howl, demonstrations with signs and bullhorns and fiery speeches — over the damage he’s done to this country.

This is the man who gave us the war in Iraq and Guantánamo and torture and rendition; who turned the Clinton economy and the budget surplus into fool’s gold; who dithered while New Orleans drowned; who trampled our civil liberties at home and ruined our reputation abroad; who let Dick Cheney run hog wild and thought Brownie was doing a heckuva job.

There seemed to be no end to Mr. Bush’s talent for destruction...

Word. But where was the Times and the rest of the press while all this was actually going on? Oh yeah: five miles up the collective asses of the misadministration. And while demonstrations are a damn good start, I'd rather hear a 'great hue and cry' to stick their miserable lying buttholes on a plane to the Hague. Fuck.

Everyone seemed to be like ostriches, only they had there head up there ass. This lunatic was allowed to steal the office of the most powerful man in the world, and then slowly destroy everything. Now everyone is up in arms about it after the damage is done. I am so disappointed in the way the people of this Country just sat there, and allowed this man, and his dancing monkeys to
steal the office of presidency, and destroy this Country. I say grow some fucking balls America!

Where's the outcry and outrage at Congress and Pelosi for allowing this atrocity of a human being to continue leading this country in the face of the 2006 mandate?

ONE WOMAN allowed the Bu$h cabal their final 2 years of destruction.

What about that?
Why aren't people crying for the heads of those in Congress who refused to stop the crimes and incompetence with impeachment proceedings? Those who were elected to a) stop the Iraq occupation and b) reign in the Bu$h administration! That's what the 2006 elections were alllll about. And they sat and spinned on their thumbs while the US continued to burn. Right up to and including letting him ride into the sunset as though he'd been a normal president, ran a normal administration.

I'm spitting nails at Congress and it's complicity. Why isn't everyone else?

I can't stand Nancy Pelosi. "Impeachment is off the table" my ass. And speaking of my ass, Harry Reid can kiss it, the worthless jellyfish. Bah.

They're all as useless as a weedwhacker in the desert. I come from the state of Lieberman and Dodd (I didn't vote for either of the fools) and know a little about how power corrupts. They don't call my state Corrupticut for no reason.
Bey they malignant or just stupid, they should be voted out of office. We just tossed Shays out after 26 years, replaced by a guy with zero experience, just to get the fucker OUT. It should be that way all across the country.
