Mitt Romney's fundraising has worst monthly haul of the year

The Mittster’s political committee (FPAC) raised only $178,000 upon news that Romney is a smug, dog-abusing Mormon with a penchant for fudge-packing, reports the republigargle.com.

To be sure, fundraising tends to slow in the summer particularly in off years — but they still beat the pants off Sarah Palin’s and Mike Huckabee’s groups, drillmepac and Jesuslovesmebestpac, so they have that going for them, sort of.
