A continent? In what respect, Charlie?

Lazy, bad-tempered and hard to control emotionally, Failin was an utter disaster, new reports confirm. Oh, and moronic. Don't forget moronic.

Now that the campaign is over, McInsane staff members start dishing on the Disasta from Alaska. And so do the so-called "journalists" who were along for the ride and saw the whole thing as it happened, but didn't warn the rest of moron-America who a) continued to think she was God's gift and b) demonized the "liberal" "drive-by" "gotcha" media for trying to get the truth out. Great job, guys. Now crawl off and die.

"Country first" my ass: to the surprise of no one with a functioning nervous system, Caribou Barbie sucked, majorly. It wasn't just being able to see Russia from her house, or the botched interviews, the lying, dimwitted smears that brought out the worst in everyone who came in contact with her. It was Bible Spice appearing almost naked to male ... ahem ... staffers --

At the GOP convention in St. Paul, Palin was completely unfazed by the boys' club fraternity she had just joined. One night, Steve Schmidt and Mark Salter went to her hotel room to brief her. After a minute, Palin sailed into the room wearing nothing but a towel, with another on her wet hair. She told them to chat with her laconic husband, Todd. "I'll be just a minute," she said.

-- Gawd, how prezinental!!!1!!! -- the WalMart hockey mom Diva's whirlwind shopping extravaganza --

Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported. While publicly supporting Palin, McCain's top advisers privately fumed at what they regarded as her outrageous profligacy. One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family—clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. A vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. At one point during the campaign, Palin's youngest daughter, seven-year-old Piper, was photographed carrying a US $790 Louis Vuitton bag. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books.

-- her stupidity on world and national issues --

Carl Cameron talking to Bill O'Reilly just now on Fox reveals that McCain aides were truly "shocked" at the lack of knowledge Sarah Palin displayed once they were stuck with her. He said that, in the most startling shortcoming, she actually "thought Africa was a country, not a continent."

This led, among other things, to her asking how, in that case, South Africa could be a separate country. She also could not name all of the countries in North America, he said, not even the NAFTA partners. And she did not know many of the basics of civics and local/state/national duties.

That explains, he said, why tensions erupted as McCain aides were truly alarmed by all of this -- yet Palin wanted to speak out freely. So in the closing week or so, they reveal, she took to yelling and screaming at aides over her press clippings, even "tossing papers" around. She was so out of touch she actually refused coaching before the Katie Couric interviews, then yelled at staffers for not preparing her better or warning her off the interviews.

-- Fuck. This women went to five different colleges and she's never seen a map of Africa? She was a journalism major, for peteesake! Plus what about all those newspapers she reads? -- and, even Mooselini pitting McThuselah's own staff against each other --
Randy Scheunemann, a senior foreign policy adviser to John McCain, was fired from the Arizona senator's campaign last week for what one aide called "trashing" the campaign staff.

"He was positioning himself with Palin [whom he became very close with] at the expense of John McCain's campaign message," said one of the aides.

Did I mention she was dumber than a box of hammers? No wonder the McCain camp told her she couldn't speak at the concession speech:

The relationship between Palin and McCain, in fact, had deteriorated in the final days of the campaign to the point that they were seldom talking.

Oh, and to you Faux-journamalism propaganda-catapulting dittomonkeys: heckuva job for pushing this virulent nincompoop as VP of the US, even when you knew she was a catastrophe. Now ES&D.

Good 'dishing' on Palin, Maru! I STILL find myself amazed that even the REPUKES would be THAT cynical that they thought that they could get the media and enough of the public to buy her as a SERIOUS candidate! McGovern is somewhat justifiably criticized for his Eagleton VP choice (and his subsequent edging-out of him), but Eagleton was a relatively accomplished pol, so it was easy to assume that he had a 'clean' past. WTF are these people ON anyway??? They're so crazy I'm afraid to talk to them and find out!
